I spent a most enjoyable couple of hours on Sunday accompanying members of the Folk Music Society of New York (Pinewoods) serenading 96 year old Irving Glazer at the Fairview Nursing Care Center in Queens. The music and showing of friendship by Irving’s friends brought great joy to him and his son Mark. The power of shared music and musical memories to lift people’s spirits is truly amazing!
